Glow in the dark Slime

This glow in the dark slime is very easy to make.

Ingredients:

• 1 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 cup water (approximately)
• Glow in the dark paint  (or you can extract fluorescent dye from a highlighter pen* - that will glow when exposed to a black light)

* Pull out the ink-soaked felt that is inside the pen. Soak the felt in a small quantity of water. 

Directions:

1. Put the cornstarch into a bowl.
2. Add water (the fluorescent water you made), slowly. As you add the water, stir the water into the cornstarch. Don't use a spoon - use your hands to do this. This is part of the fun, and you will also be able to tell when you have put in enough water!
3. Add enough water so that the mixture slowly flows on its own when mixed. The best test is to reach in and grab a handful of the mixture and see if you can roll it into a ball between your hands – if you stop rolling it and it “melts” between your fingers.

EM PORTUGUÊS:

Ingredientes:

• 1 xicara de maizena
• 1/2 xícara água (aproximadamente. Pode ser mais ou menos)
• Tinta que brilha no escuro (ou então vc pode preparar a sua: com a carga de uma caneta grifa-texto* - nos utilizamos a amarela - que irá brilhar na luz negra)

* Retire a carga de dentro da caneta e mergulhe-a em um recipiente com um pouco de água.

Preparo:

1. coloque a maizena em uma tigela.
2. Adicione a água (que vc preparou com a carga da caneta), lentamente. Conforme você adiciona a água misture a água com a mizena. Não use uma colher - use suas mãos. É divertido e assim você será capaz de perceber quando tiver quantidade suficiente de água. 
3. Você deve colocar uma quantidade suficiente de água para que a mistura fique bem líquida quando você mexe devagar. Para testar, pegue uma quantidade da mistura em suas mãos e tente enrolar para fazer uma bola de massa. Enrolando rapidamente é possível formar uma bola, mas ao parar a mistura derrete entre seus dedos.
